Chemical Peels
Most chemical peels are significantly less aggressive with nowhere near the dramatic results that are obtained with the CO2 laser. They do have the advantage of requiring little or no down time and minimal discomfort. Many are advertised as “lunch-time” peels.
The chemicals work by removing the damaged top layers of skin, allowing newer and healthier tissue to surface.
